“The Beijing Fortune Plaza is a multi-use development that can house corporate offices, condominiums and a hotel. The Fortune Plaza is actually a project that contains five skyscrapers inside one enclosure, the tallest one being 260m high. The five buildings have been categorized into two office buildings, two apartment buildings and one hotel.” The Fortune Plaza was one of Beijing's largest developments with a total construction area of 720,000 square meters. The Fortune Plaza was completed in time for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, where it stood as a proud symbol of Chinese economic development.
