Great place, just miles away. They have a good variety of beers and some pretty pretty tasty grilled meats. On top of that it is great value. Check out their events because they have some good deals here and its well worth the painstaking cab ride across the city. Brunch is a pretty decent at this place too.

I stayed out in Haidian at the Sheraton with some family friends for two weeks when I first arrived in Beijing.
They were both chefs the the hotel.
We had drinks one evening over a bowl of noodles at the bar.
The noodles were delicious but, of course, wildly over priced by Beijing standards, however, it was on the house so I was in luck.
They both had beers while I had a glass of wine. It was a nice place if you are staying there or very near, but nothing special - I won't go there again now that I am more centrally located.
