Gege Fu 格格府
Feast like an emperor in the Qing court at this restaurant where women with looped, plaited hair flutter their fans and beauties exchange demure whispers behind floppy sleeves while pretending to nibble at plates of plastic food. Welcome to Gege Fu’s interactive, meta dinner theater, where guests are encouraged to visit the libraries, lounges, and courtyards spread around the restaurant. Keep en eye out for the long-awaited cameo of Gege, the eponymous princess, who floats languidly from her inner chambers. Shows daily from 5pm-10pm The food is imperial fare highlighted by the duck hotpot.
