I like terrace sitouts in summer. Only time when you can get some fresh air and outings.
The drinks and music both are good.

...Kokomo is the place to go! After hours traipsing around the city in search for solo cups - to no avail -, we gave up and went to Kokomo for some good ol' Beirut. For 60RMB, the pitcher is surely overpriced; but it's totally worth it for some nostalgia. I'm pretty sure that the staff rewashes the red solo cups instead of replacing them with new ones. Go on a rainy nights when the streets are empty and have the place all to yourself!

Kokomo´s latest reviews were so outrageous they made me cry of agony...

Some dare to say that it separates from the ghetto atmosphere that there is downstairs, but upstairs is the same! Their drink list is a good example of mediocrity and their DJs...

OH MY GOD! THE DJS! THE PAIN!

Everytime I there, it seems that these guys only have 3 CDs:

One of Akon another of Rihanna and the third CD is full with the Greatest hits of previous years, including jewels like: "the Macarena" "Mambo N5" and "Tequila"

AND EVERY NIGHT IS THE SAME MUSIC!! they even repeat several times the same song!!
AND EVERY TIME I´VE BEEN THERE THERE HAS BEEN A POINT WHEN THE DJ F***ED IT UP, THE MUSIC WENT OUT AND EVERYBODY WAS WHISTLING AND BOOING!

They don´t mix the songs, they either:

a) Just slowly lower the volume at the end of a song and press "play" for the next song... and they call themselves djs??? oH god

b) When it´s time to change song, they randomly spin the record to get some kind of bulls+it sound effect... like "oh! look at me, I do stuff" and then press "play"

I love dancing and listening to music, but even trying my best I can´t dance to anything if it´s the 3rd time I´m listening to it.

Sometimes I want to throw a couple of bottles into the DJ´s face, to teach him a lesson.

I just go there once a week but just because my friends ask me to. Last night I left when the police came through a side door and ordered the DJ to stop playing that horrid music so loud. KUDOS TO THE POLICE! they gave me the perfect excuse to leave.

I give one star because of the terrace they got out of the blue

Great Environment and one of the best places to spend a relaxing sunny afternoon in Beijing. The roof-top is great, gets quite a bit of sun and the Sangaria is cheap and tasty.

The music what you'd expect from a bar call Kokomos. Latin mostly with some Electronic or Club music elements thrown in.

They have a great Sunday BBQ with cheap burgers that looked pretty good though don't go expecting to eat anything else as the kitchen seemed closed except the BBQ. Snacks were no bad, though the Nachos are terrible, too salty and otherwise tasteless.

Price is about standard for the San Li Tun area, if you are looking for cheap drinks don't go but otherwise it's a pretty good deal. (Jugs of Sangaria are 98 rmb, regular drinks are around the 30-40 range usually)
