I recognized this place when I saw they had a groupon offer on one of the numerous Chinese groupon sites and gave it try.

It included two soups, a salad, an appetizer tray, seafood pizza (a bad sign, I know) and two drinks. Went in around 4:30 Sunday afternoon to a completely empty place. Chill hip-hop playing on the speakers

Soup
Supposed to be some kind of beef soup, but the small bowls were only half full with what tasted like canned soup. The beef cubes were the preserved kind and no veggies were found.

Salad
Heaps of greens plus a few pieces of cherry tomatoes and I think three pieces of olives, thats it! At least they dumped the thousand island dressing on the side of the plate, and yes, it was pretty sloppy.

Appetizer
Crisp thick fies that I'm pretty sure were frozen, had no salt on them, and ketchup dumped on the side as well. Included a few deep fried meatballs that were hardened, it was okay.

Pizza
Just terrible, the dough was soft, standard Chinese thickness and really bland. Same with the cheese and sauce, probably the worst pizza ever except for this ghetto joint in LA where the cheese slid off the crust when you picked it up.

I had high hopes for this comfy hutong joint but it was really disappointing for a place with such a cool name and promising location and facilities.
