One the oldest and best-known foreigner hangouts in Beijing, Shiller's 1 has good food and service at reasonable prices. This place is packed with both expatriate and Chinese workers during the week. Happy hour is 5-7 every evening. Cozy and comfortable, the clientele give it an international quality. The food is great: pub grub such as chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks and samosas can be ordered. Salads, steaks, burgers and schnitzel too. Wash everything down with the Beijing Draft.

Looking at other places of which are goind down (worsening service, increasing prices, cheating waiters, music too loud) I do not understand why I am the only one rating Schiller's. As in my last review junk style but reliable German food (always tasty, never got sick, never changed menu). No rennovation since opening but nice sitting outside, waiters at least trying their best, prices ver yreasonable. Tcheck Bud and Koenig Pilsener at happy hour...so what's wrong here compared to many shitwholes...???? 4 Stars in comparison, In Germany this would have 1 maybe...
