Review of
The Bar and Grill Atmosphere was nice, calm deco and intimate, good service. Rich beer (from Buddington to yeast, etc) and wine selection, do check it out.
We had Herb marinated yellow fin tuna with avocado citrus salad and parmesan crisp (RMB 75) which was nice; the 200 days grain fed Aussie beef - Sirloin (250 gram) for RMB 325 was worth the money, you can taste the difference between a local normal beef with this one, the egg yellow/bearnaise sauce was excellent; for dessert I recommend either Vairhona chocolate beignet with caramalized pineapple and honey ice cream or Cinnamon creme brulee with stewed apples and almond crisp.
It'll take about 20-30 minutes to serve the steak, but do snack on the nice and warm bread with some side dishes, mashed potatoes was my favorite.
For intimate dining ask the waiter to sit you by the glass window, you'll see the wangfujing street, nice slow jazz music as well flowing through. The steak cutleries were nice too, light and easy to cut and for a newly open hotel they maintain the cleanliness on the knife set (which I know is very very difficult).
