The Bridge Cafe 桥咖啡
Extremely popular with the foreign student contingent, this cafe offers a completely American menu, with wonderful coffees, cakes and breakfast specials. A top floor terrace is a pleasant retreat in the spring and summer.

A lovely place
Oh Bridge, how I love thee. Its the perfect place to bum out with your laptop and eat. The fuwuyuan are a little slow but they make up for it in their muffins. I love their pumpkin pie dessert, I'm just waiting for fall to come so I can eat it again. Also a must is their mushroom and cheese omelett, a great meal for brunch with some friends. Coffee good, smoothies are okay, carrot cake awesome!

Straight out of Seattle
As a former Seattleite, The Bridge Cafe feels just like home. And why not? It's non-smoking (well, at least on one floor), lots of generously stuffed bookshelves, plenty of power for laptops, free WiFi, and great coffee. It doesn't stop there--the pasta is hand-made on site, and they serve a fantastic American breakfast.
Sure, the prices are about the same as you'd pay in the US, or maybe a little more. But it's so worth it! You can sit for hours with your laptop without being chased away. The staff is friendly, and even speaks a little bit of English.
Definitely my favorite place in Wudakhou, and among my favorite in Beijing.

Affordable student hangout
Having lived in Chaoyang for two years, I was pleasantly surprised by the affordable prices. The breakfast can be had for something like 25 or 30 kuai, I think including coffee.
The restroom is clean.
The waitstaff try hard and are friendly.
A nice choice, if you're a student or would like to re-experience student life for a moment.

Best Hangout Cafe in Wdk
My fav cafe in all of Beijing, 24-hours,7 days a week means I could roll in at anytime with a book and get some serious studying/work done! Not to mention that the wireless never fails me and is always stable. Uber friendly staffs, perfect environment and ambience for students and nothing beats serving breakfast all day! Good coffee with a good book in hand, I would slouch at the couch in The Bridge for a whole day, ordering endless cups of coffee and tea (i secretly wished the coffee refill could be more than once, lol), what a perfect day for a uni student!

Best Place to Work/Study in Haidian
This place is exactly what it says: a cafe. The atmosphere is very laid back and it's always full of people studying, working, reading, eating, relaxing. Wi-fi is no problem.
Have always had pleasantly surprising experiences with the food, which is also very reasonably priced. Breakfast special includes omelet, toast, potatoes, salad and coffee all for just 30 RMB. I've also had a pasta dish, which I assumed would be just mediocre, but was actually very good. If you live in the Wudaokou area, it's a must if you're looking for a good quiet corner to get some work done.

Always good
Bridge is always fantastic for study sessions and the rooftop is wonderful! Just know that u can't get wifi up there. I usually get the all day breakfasts. Those are always good. So is the spinach pasta though that's quite heavy.

Best Apple Pie I've ever had in my life so far
I love everything about the bridge. The pasta, apple pie, ambience, decor, books, service, etc...
One thing I can complain about is their slow wifi connection. Other than that, it's perfect.

24 hour coffee and breakfasts
A welcome slice of home for students in the Wu. Good coffee (if a bit pricey), tasty breakfasts and cake. 24 hours too so you can roll in at all hours for a feed. Nice little terrace too, and good service. Well-run all round.

Great food, great coffee, great ambiance... Good enough for me!
The Bridge Cafe is the most popular cafe at Wudaokou. They have a whole floor for non-smokers, great western food (try their carbonara), always nice music and staff that never stops smiling. Even their American Coffee is good there. And you get free refills. My favorite cafe in, probably, the whole world.
