The CourtYard 四合院
Handel Lee’s spot remains one of Beijing’s most frequently recommended restaurants in town, whether for its cachet as a place to impress a date or its ceaselessly awe-inspiring view across the Forbidden City’s moat. Rated one of the “50 most exciting restaurants in the world” by Conde Nast Traveler and the recipient of Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for eight consecutive years. Recently, CourtYard has revamped their cuisine from fusion to modern European, with the help of consultant chef Dan Segall, introducing "Rangers Valley" beef tenderloin, lobster and chicken ravioli and more to a small, seasonable menu. Reservations recommended.
