Although it's way out there for those of us downtown, the Yin Yang center is a great venue, a great resource for it's neighborhood (Shunyi area), and deserves appreciation.

What impressed me most about this space when I finally saw it after hearing about it for a long time was how they make the most of it, and have managed to create really functional facilities for a ridiculously diverse program of events.

A lot of people in town may not know that the Yin Yang Center is technically a branch of the bookworm. So you have books, coffee, a very serene and thoughtfully decorated and renovated living room, in addition to massage facilities, a class/lecture room, and an ample and professional yoga/aerobics/nia training space.

The management here are aces with creating human, livable spaces - just look at the Orchard, or check out their real estate project next door.
