Yashow Market 雅秀市场
Yes, it’s overrun by free spending tourists, but Yaxiu is an unavoidable fixture in the life of a serious shopper. It has a good selection of "brand-name" underwear, jeans, jackets, shoes, sports equipment, bags and souvenirs. Don’t forget to bargain ruthlessly. Some of the tailors on the third floor have a large following, as does the Creative Nail Beauty Salon on the fourth floor.

Yashow Market: Deadzone
Ok, so you know about Silk Street Market? Picture that with even worse quality products. Now think of it with much less selection. Next, raise the lowest bargaining prices at least 1.5X as much (30 for hats instead of 15 for example.
My advice? Avoid if at all possible.
I hate Silk Street, but would give it 5 stars compared to this.
Also. the tailors do a bad quality. I'm talking about designing and stitching etc. (Don't even get me started on the "wool" which is generally less than 30% wool!!!)
Last 2 Items I bought:
Italian design belt-First day the buckle fell off as where it connected cut the "leather". You could see layers of cardboard in between. Next, part of the buckle which was screwed on fell out somewhere. I am a pretty good bargainer, but I couldn't get this belt under 35. (You can get for 15 at non tourist markets)
Tailored 100% wool and cashmere pants: I did a burn test. Let's just say if there was any wool at all it was hard to tell. The shirts I got here were also cotton mixed with polyester.

Don't lose your time there
It takes a ridiculously long time to haggle to a decent price as sellers think all laowais are stupid morons.
Products are the usual fake crap but starting bargaining price is up to 4 times what is practiced elesewhere with agressive sellers that BS you with their ill mommy who need a treatment. Only go there if you actually like to haggle forever OR if you enjoy being a patsy.
For clothes go to Beijing zoo clothes market in front of the zoo. Same crap, way cheaper and you will lose less time...

What a surprise...
The stuff sells fake goods? Really, how can that be...Of course it's all fake and cheap. You can't blame them since your stupidity keeps them alive. Normally nobody buys for example a USB stick there. How can you be so ben? In fact there are a few shops that sell real stuff, but you have to know where. For cloth the foreign trade shops are much better, Wangfujung is not a good choice.

Low Quality
The famous brand name products here are all fake .Some people don't care and they only want low price , but if you want good quality then you should not go there .It is for tourist foreigners .If you want to get good deals then you can go to Xidan Shopping for cloths.

A place to bargain
you need to bargain otherwise you will pay the price. Many products available, clothes, fabric, tailor made clothes and so on. I like this place because I can test my bargaining skills there

One of the good markets
I went to a couple of markets like this one and the yashow market is one of the good ones. 3 floors for clothes, 1 floor for shoes and bags and 1 floor for electronic, sunglasses, watches and toys. There is also one floor with restaurants but I was never brave enough to eat there.
Its always a must to bargain and if you dont get your price, just go to the next shop. For the most of the thing there you can find at least 5 other stores which offer the same product. Nice place to spend a few rmb for a new shirts or socks.

small place, little variety
without going into too much detail about the "quality" [:)], etc - the place is quite small and the variety is very limited - even compared to silk market. this does not help competition and hence results in higher prices.

I love Yashow
When its time to back to our country and want to shop simple gifts for many of the friends one cannot ignore this market.
Other malls with branded stuff can be good but the wallet should support ,else Yashow is the winner.
Not all products are bad here. You choose the better quality T shirts and shoes and the designs are good.
The market is good for the wallet, and that is the main reason you see all flock to this market.

Be careful here, especially near the entrance. I was attacked.
Awhile back I posted a review of Yashow that was deleted by one of the moderators. After conferring with admin, he has told me that he was not the one who deleted it.
I do this as a public service announcement in the interest of people's safety, so moderator, please do not remove it again.
A couple of weeks ago as I parked my motorcycle in front of Sanlitun Yashow, I was being shouted at by the DVD hawkers, and they were surrounding me aggressively before I could even get off my bike.
"D-WEE-D! HEY HEY! D-WEE-D!"
After a "bu yao", they continued to shout at me, so I told them to shut up and go away, and I did it just as loudly as they were shouting at me.
They became angry and started cursing at me, and as I entered the building I told them in Chinese not to touch my motorcycle.
Two of them flew into a rage and started attacking me, trying to punch and kick me. After a minute or so of this, another guy came out with a mop and started swinging at me.
I had not laid a finger on these guys, and was merely blocking their attacks. One guy kept reaching into his pocket as if he had a knife. I was finally able to back up to my motorcycle, get the key in the ignition, start it up (it was in neutral) and peel off with them still trying to hit me.
Bottom line, be careful around this dump, these people are low-level mafia scumbags.
If they'll attack me, a large man, I don't think they'd hesitate to go after smaller people. My advice: Don't even bother going. Once inside you'll only be ripped off and treated rudely by the shopkeepers, who are dirtbags.
So moderator, unless you get a kick out of Beijing newbies/tourists getting attacked, leave this review the hell alone, FFS.
I gave the warning, my part is done.

A lot of variety but rude sellers
Yashow is enjoying loads of foreign tourists but their attitude towards the customers is becoming worse now. The seller's are extremely rude and at times they pass dirty comments in Chinese...... The management needs to pay attention.
