Sundubu jjigae, or soft tofu stew, is front and center on the menu at this unassuming restaurant. The dish is ideal comfort food and the perfect warmer-upper during winter. The aromatic smells of the combination tofu soup – nose-tickling cayenne pepper, pungent kimchi, and briny whole shrimps and clams - are reason enough to visit.
