Review of dGenerate Films
As the description here implies, dGenerate are primarily concerned with taking Chinese independent cinema to the US, so their activities are not really focused on Beijing. Their website, however, is an excellent source of information on what's happening outside the mainstream film industry here. This is particularly useful for those living in China, because even though the films in question are made here, they are rarely able to be discussed in the local press. The dGenerate site also sometimes highlights screenings and events happening in China, some of which are in Beijing.
In short, dGenerate's site is a great news source for those interested in Chinese film, especially the independent sector.
