Unlike the real Al-Bawadi – a luxury tourism development in Dubai – this restaurant is located on top of a car wash in a humdrum part of Sanlitun. Still, its second-floor location provides guests with a view of the Liangma River and its simple decor provides a cozy setting for any nearby embassy staff who happen to be craving some Middle Eastern fare.
