Tasting Moments

Taiwanese canteen style Taoyuan Village launched its sister restaurant Tasting Moments at Parkview Green. The all-white tent-like restaurant is definitely pushing the contemporary minimalism to the extreme, but you would see they put much effort in details–with white marble table, white counter, white logo, and white counter.

Similar to Taoyuan Village (but much more expensive),they have three categories: warm soy-based drinks (RMB 26-38), five tea, soy bean milk cheese tea, cakes (烧饼, shaobing), rice roll, and snacks.

The Butchers Club

Specializing in barley-fed, dry-aged beef steak and burgers imported from Australia, the likes of which got them noticed by Michelin Guide Hong Kong in both 2016 and 2017, The Butchers Club delivers an unforgettable meal. Located in the basement of Parkview Green, TBC offers seven pricier burgers, such as their classic variety, Double Happiness (RMB 168), Captain Ahab (RMB 108), The Gambler (RMB 88), The Hogtown (RMB 118), Wu Tang (RMB 118), and a vegetarian patty (RMB 78), as well as salads, steak sets (RMB 238-248), and dry-aged beef steaks to go.

Roof Café

Roof Café, located on the 10th floor of Parkview Green, is unlike your usual rip-off shopping mall café in that it's the real deal – regular Americanos, espressos, lattes, and cappuccinos all ring in at RMB 15, or opt for a souped-up version for RMB 35. Other refreshments are reasonably priced (RMB 5 for sodas, water, etc.), and juices are RMB 18.

Under Clouds

At first glance it's tough to tell that this Parkview Green restaurant is a Yunnanese joint, considering its picture windows, unremarkable modern tables and chairs, and none of the exotic lattice or homey vibes found at most such restaurants. That's not necessarily a bad thing, in fact it's refreshing to see such an eatery go for a less on-the-nose approach. And when our first dish arrived it screamed all things Yunnan – peeled prawns in sour soup (pictured at top).

Beijing Weier Dental Hospital

Local dental clinic with many branches across the city. Reliable, professional, clean and significantly cheaper than international dental clinics in Beijing. Dentists and nurses aren't particularly good at English, so if your Chinese is not too proficient, bring a Chinese-speaking friend.

With seven locations throughout Beijing, including in Viva Plaza at Shuangjing, Parkview Green at Dongdaqiao, Glory Mall at Chongwenmen, Fengtai Wanda, Little Faigo serves a wallet-friendlier version of its sister Faigo Hot Pot's original Shanghai location, much the same as Xiabu Xiabu does for Coucou.

If you want to skip the a la carte menu, there are three options for weekday lunch sets, costing either RMB 59/79/99 per person (depending on which meat you want), as well as a choice of soup, a bowl of vegetables, shrimp balls, noodles, and a drink.
