798 ICAF is China’s biggest children’s art festival, held annually and based in the world-renowned 798 Art District in Beijing. You can check out 798 ICAF 2014’s video here and our Facebook page here. Over the course of the festival, children are encouraged to explore creativity using a variety of media with guidance from established and emerging artists from all over the world. Our mission is to build an intercultural learning platform for children to explore art, enjoy creativity and have the opportunity to exhibit their work.

Organised by Art+798, on an outdoor site with interactive installations, arts workshops, performances, exhibitions, storytelling, handicraft stalls, art experimentation stations and more, artists practitioners from China and overseas get involved with 798 ICAF. It's a great day out for the family during National Week in one of Beijing's centres of creativity, 798 Arts District!

Open daily from 10am - 5pm from 1-5 October 2016, with free entry to many of the installations and activities, kids and parents alike are sure to find something they love at 798 ICAF.

We're still currently accepting applications for artists, designers, individuals and organisations to participate in the festival. We support a variety of arts projects at the festival and offer some stall space for other organisations wishing to sell or promote their products for children and families.
