Starting with random shows in early 2015 and thereafter building momentum resulting in prominent spots at School Live Bar's annual New Year's Eve 2015 extravaganza and the "Drink the Bar Dry" on the last day of business before closing for the 2016 Chinese New Year, a strong and lively hip hop community has sprung up in the Wudaoying Hutong.

In July get down with Beijing's own hip hop freestyle troupe "ATL" (Above the Law)!

Expect sets from a number of MCs, freestyle battles, and tons of back-and-forth interaction with the crowd. Get up on stage and give it a go yourself!
