2017 Daystar Space Camp

Mission to Mars: Since 2003 there have been three rovers sent to Mars by NASA. The goals of the most recent rover include: investigation of the Martian climate and geology to ascertain whether there was life at one time. We at New Horizons have brought together experts in engineering and education to bring your child on an unforgettable journey to Mars. From the Rockets, to the Rovers, and all of the stages in between we want our students to have a hands on experience of the science behind what’s happening on Mars today.

Educational Philosophy: STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics. We want to integrate these different areas into a challenging yet fun experience for students of all levels. As they build rockets, robots, and even learn coding to program, they will have an experience that will inspire their curiosity.

Our Staff: 1st class American staff of engineers from JPL, IBM and Honda, as well as professional educators with more than 10 years of bilingual education experience.

When: July 10-14, 9am-3:30pm.

Where: Daystar Beigao Campus

Who: Students who will be in 2nd -6th grade. (max 60 students)

Cost: 5490 RMB. Optional transportation costs are not included. Payments will be taken on Yoopay.
