The NCPA screens a production of George Bizet’s Carmen. The opera follows a young Gypsy girl, Carmen, who meets cavalry captain Don Jose, who’s heart is broken when she falls for a handsome matador. Conducted by Zhang Guoyong, the cast features María José Montiel, Warren Mok, Yuan Chenye, and Zhou Xiaolin.
