The NCPA screens Mozart’s opera The Magic Flute staged at the Metropolitan Museum under the direction of James Levine. Prince Tamino and his friend, the bird catcher Papageno, embark on their quest to rescue Pamina, the beautiful daughter of the Queen of the Night. Pamina has been abducted by Sarastro, the High Priest of Isis; his purpose is to separate Pamina from the evil influence of her mother. The cast includes HUANG Ying, Matthew Polenzani, Nathan Gunn, Erika Miklósa, and René Pape.
