Fu Qifu, who was born in Hangzhou in 1910 and passed away in 2007, was a contemporary Taiwanese painter and art educator. After leaving China in 1949, he was one of the pioneers of Taiwanese ink painting. After his death, his family donated his archives to the Zhejiang Art Museum, which now loans Fu’s paintings and important documents to the Chinese Art Museum for a show celebrating his life and influences.
