Yay! Spring is coming! Time to get out of the house and enjoy this best time of the year!

Here is what we suggest you to do:

- Try one of the most traditional water sport by joining in the first dragonboat training on 26th March

- Enjoy the nature and sunshine in a lovely Sunday afternoon while work out at the same time

- Have a good laugh and intense teamwork with a group of friendly faces

- Chill with the team at local hutong bars and restaurants

About our team:

Our team, Beijing International Dragon Boat Team was founded from Dec. 2001. Our founder has over 16 years dragonboat and sport coaching experience. Our teammates are from all over the world, some used to be the dragonboat paddlers back home, while most are amateurs of this amazing sport.

Other than the daily training, we get invited to race in different cities. Our team is also a family, and we aim to help everyone to enjoy the team spirit by organizing other kind of activities, such as attending the Triathlon, Marathon, Spartan Race, Hiking, Archery, Theme Parties, etc.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for new members to join our team from the beginning of the training season - anyone who is interested in trying a new water sport or want to experience a different Houhai tour. No matter where you are from, what age you are at( as long as you are adult), or whether you have done that before or not, you are all welcome!

What you may expect:

The training includes: warm up session, learning session, practice session, short race amongst the team session, warm down session.

As it's water sport, please make sure to bring another set of dry clothes to change after the training. Waterproof shoes or sandals are recommended for the sport. Gloves, sunglasses could be useful during the practice.

For the ones who can't/ aren't good at swim, life jacket is provided during training.

Cost: 70 RMB for new comers, 50 RMB for members
