This Dragon Boat Festival, bring your family and friends to the Green T. House for an afternoon of cultural activities curated by The SLab. Parents and children can enjoy the family friendly activities of [ Fragrant Sachets Crafting ] & [ Dragon Boat Craft & Race ]

Throughout Chinese History, ‘fragrant sachets’ were crafted and worn to ward off evil, repeal insects, as good luck charms, or gifted as a symbol of love. The SLab carries on this tradition by preparing the instructions and materials for both adults and children to learn ‘Fragrant Sachet Crafting’ by making your own silk sachets. We’ve selected six traditional herbs used to fill the fragrant sachets that are meant to bring luck and ward evil especially for children.

Of all the festivities The Dragon Boat Festival has to its name, it would not be complete without the most significant of all, the ‘Dragon Boat Race.’ A scaled-down version of the race will take place in the Green T. central pond, competing only if the participants has crafted their own boat with a dragon’s head. The [ Dragon Boat Craft & Race ] is an activity for the whole family and not to be missed!
