Beijing Rainbow Center

Beijing Rainbow Center has dedicated itself to promoting rapid HIV testing amongst Beijing's LGBT community since opening in 2009. The organization co-operates with PLA No. 302 Hospital and CDC to provide one-stop service for the LGBT community.

Stop by for free rapid (20 minute) and urine (3-5 days) HIV testing, using imported testing kits; consulting services on HIV (in English and Korean) We can also do urine HIV testing.

Happy Water Rubik’s Cube

The biggest open-air water park in the city, Happy Water Rubik’s Cube is worth the trip to Fengtai District. The many rides inside, including flumes, raft rides, and a wave machine, will help you forget just how hot it is outside. The park is fitted with a water filter that operates 24 hours a day.

This Beijing-based chain's claim-to-fame is that they are the first to offer 24-hour delivery, though their six locations are scattered around the city, so you'll have to call to see if they reach you.

Sanyuanqiao, Jinsong/Panjiayuan, northeast of Hongmiao, and Chaoyang Lu outside the 5th Ring are the areas most likely to reach Beijinger readers' homes; two other location are on the west at Fuchengmen and Fengtai.

National Academy of Chinese Theater

Founded in 1950, the National Academy of Chinese Theatre Arts (NACTA) is the only institute of its kind in China that offers both B.A. and M.A. degrees. The students are educated by highly experienced faculty members. Additionally, a number of internationally recognized scholars, experts and artists are engaged in the teaching activities. Since the 1950s, past graduates are actively engaged in Chinese dramatic troupes, media arts, and filmmaking as well as theatrical education and criticism.
