Paul's Steak and Eggs
Paul's Steak & Eggs, which should get an award for "restaurant logo that most suggests it is a front for a cult", has started, says a friend, to make its own bread. I dropped in for a burger and, indeed, it was... breadier... no word on whether Paul is raising his own chickens or brewing his own beer.
"It's not my fault."

Re: Paul's Steak and Eggs
Always happy to hear of fresh baked bread in this city, shows some evolution in the hospitality scene. I enjoy the bread at Aria in China World as well as Mediterraneo used to make decent bread. I also had numerous people telling me that the bread at the Canadian embassy was very artisan, good luck getting a table though. haha. Wonder if they have a foreign or local Chef working there.

Re: Paul's Steak and Eggs
Has anyone noticed that the bread from Steak and Eggs stays "fresh," or should I say "soft," for over two weeks?
I love their whole wheat bread, but it is almost creepy. Should one be concerned?

I haven't noticed any change in the bread. I'm more of a Grandma's Kitchen man, myself.
