Me and a friend used this guy to get an F visa 6 month extension. No problems, took about 12 days I think. cost around 1400 kuai, no idea if thats good though.
This ad is no longer available--- do you have Paul's contact info still?
flight ticket to HK is about 800rmb(last month), make a day trip, get a visa there ... and do some shopping! (work out cheaper than 1500rmb excluding the shopping of course)
Black, White, Yellow... don't we all have red blood?!! ...or blue occasionally -- in women's TV ads...
round trip flight to Hong Kong is more like 1300 to 1500 rmb. Factor in hotel costs, food and shopping, and the fees themselves, and it's more money than doing it locally in Beijing. If you are american CTS will not do multiple entry F's without previous F's in your passort, a business card, and (usually) an invitation letter. And you can't do F's with a same-day service, unless you get to the office before 900 in the morning, and pay a hefty extra fee.
Paul does great work, he's completely legit, a Canadian Chinese, and the prices are quite reasonable. Visas are just one part of what his company does, and it's certainly not a scam. Getting it dome locally is a no-brainer, unless you have a business need to be in HK anyway

fees cost on your nationality, they type of visa you need, and how much documentation you have.
I was talking about a day trip to HK without the hotel cost... going on a early flight, come back late in the evening... (someone has done this, it's possible)
Anyway, just a suggestion. like wolf said, if you have a business to do there, it'd be great. (or just go shopping!!!)
Black, White, Yellow... don't we all have red blood?!! ...or blue occasionally -- in women's TV ads...
no not stupid comments. don't forget as well that if you are on this kind of visa you HAVE to leave the country at least once a year and Hong Kong works for that. Also if you are changing between certain kinds of visas then you need to leave the country as well. Only if you are renewing residency can you stay an unlimited time.
free from desire but failed as yet to realise the mestery. where am I going wrong?
Visa are real pain in the back side... I was working in schools so they used to do it all for me, which was cool, now im back in my business career so need to get my own one...
One thing I can recomend for you is what I would say is the best visa
agent in Beijing... although not many people know about him. He
doesnt adveritise and you can only use his services if you are
recomended by someone else. I used his services when I needed to
recently. The visa he offers also you cant really get anywhere else,
its a multi entry Z-Visa but you dont have to have a school to be an
employer, thus you dont have to have a full time contract and position
in a school. The luxury of this is of course is obvious you have
complete freedom. Oh yeah and the price is less than half the price
as others and you dont have to leave the country go to Hong Kong or anything. Anyway if your in or close to Beijing give us a call, 13426131535 Ill give you this guys name and number. Drew

yes thunder, but is much harder for a normal people to get a F(business) Visa to china, so a lost of people come to china bearing a L visa as a tourist but when they want to stay in china for example 6 more months they can't do it by theirselves, if they do it on their own, they have to leave china and get a new visa from her/his country, that's what agents can do for you~
and sometimes, pay some money you can save 1 day on road for your visa and 1 day of quarrel with chinese visa governor...............
I changed my L visa into an F visa without any problem at all at an agent.
For seven workingdays they charged around 1300 and for 3day express i paid around 1800. Maybe not the cheapest option but is was good service and no hassle at all.

I checked with Paul too, his price seems a lil high, for a 6-month F visa 0 E, he said 1680 which is really high as far as i see in here.
