permenant hair straightening

I've heard it's very popular in china, very cheap & that nearly all salons can do it.
anyone any experience with it? I know people will say go to erics, but i'm a bit loathe to pay their prices.
how much should i pay?

I had a friend get her hair straightened at pink mao mao, just up dong dan street. She also got her hair cut and highlighted, and everything looked awesome. Apparently the stylists are all hong kong-trained, and very professional. I don't remember the exact price, but I do remember it being very reasonable -- the whole shabang costed her less than the haircut I got at eric a couple of weeks ago.

U can go to Dong dan, go down that street, then u will see tons of salons there....The most famous one is called "shen mei", most movie stars go there....Others like Pretty babe", "Jing dian" r not bad either.
Many people think they are full of niubility, and like to play zhuangbility, which only reflect their shability！

FYI - My sister-in-law just went to Eric's to get her hair straightened. She did the "regular straightening" which they said would last around 4 months. It looked quite nice, but less than 24 hours later it was almost back to its regular curl! She went back and they did the whole thing again. We're waiting to see what happens this time! I couldn't believe that happened after she spent over ¥500 getting it done!

Maybe she washed her hair within 3 days?
After straightening don't wash, no ponytail, don't go to sport because of sweating after sports, no moisture on your hair for 3 days, otherwise it will become curly again!!!!Maybe the hairstylist forgot to tell her or didn't know, but my hairstylist told me that I did it and my hair is still straight since 6 month straight. Ok, I did it in middle China in a Chinese Hairsaloon for 98 yuan including everything and hair cut.

I'd be careful about going to someplace that was too cheap. I have friends who got it done, and it looked fine for a month or two. But then, the straightened hair became kind of frizzy, as though it was crimped. It was because the salon used cheap products.

I had my hair straightened with Brazilian Keratin. It was also very healthy for my hair. Has anyone else tried this?

I have been reading this Brazilian straightening on the net and I got mixed reviews.
Do you know of a salon that does this here in Beijing? It's summer and I need a straight.

I think Heat Hair Salon at SOHO Shangdu does the straigtening. You can call the owner Ken at 13811592046 and give it a try. He speaks English.

I have been looking EVERYWHERE in BEijing to see where they can sraighten my hair with keratin, the brazilian product.. PLEASEE tell me where you got yours done, hopefully its in beijing

You can do any kind of Permanent at "CatherinedeFrance".
