Who do you trust with your face?
So, ladies, neverending question:
Where do you go for facials?
I, myself, have been to Erics few times, but I was not really satisfied. I mean it felt good and everything, nice way to spend 2 hours, but they didn't seem to be very thorough and I must say that their reputation is a bit overrated.
Now, I don't mind spending money on something which is good, and they were not really expensive, but I want something better.
In fact, I want to know what are the alternatives?
I've been to Bodhi too, and they do all this aromatherapy massage and it feels like heaven, but it's not a real facial where they clean your face and get rid of all the toxic bad stuff.
Is there anything else in Beijing?
A place where they use all the good products and are very good?
I mean, you really have to trust someone to let them do stuff to your nice delicate skin, no?
So, who do you trust?

Try Daisy's in Sunshine 100 on Guanghua Lu. She has different types of facials. Great waxing, manicures, pedicures too )

Thanks, I never considered that one.

I might try them.
Do you happen to know what products do they use and the approximate price range?

Re: Who do you trust with your face?
You can get facials with a French product line, but I forget the name. She's just opened a new location at MOMA in Dongcheng and has specials on waxing and facials now. She's a bit cheaper than Eric Paris. Check out this month's tbj for the exact adress and phone number.

Re: Who do you trust with your face?
I called them and made an appointment for today so I'll see what are they like.

My skin doesn't really like winter here with all the dryness and the wind. They are a bit cheaper than Erics if you choose the chinese line, if you go fro the french one they're around the same. But that is really not expensive.
I hope they're good.
And I'll go this MOMA new location.
So ladies, expect a full review when I get back.
And once again, thanks to Bikechick for suggestion.

Re: Who do you trust with your face?
So, i'm back.
It was ok. The girl working there was really nice, she gave me several very smart pieces of advise, answered why my skin doesn't like Beijing, gave me a delightful massage and also a discount. She had much more personal approach than Eric's facial girl.
All in all, I spent very enjoyable 2 hours there.
Now I'm waiting for my face to stop being red and all the traces of facial treatment to go away (I hope they will till tonight, I'm meeting all the girls at Annie's) and I hope if I do all she told me to do I won't be having hard time with Beijing winter and pollution.
Thanks again bikechik

What's the phone number and how much did it cost for 2 hours? Did she press all your acnes and blackheads out?
The act of not making a choice is a choice in itself.

I go to ES Lifestyle in the Estoril Building opposite the Workers Stadium. I have been a few times and find them very thorough. Cost varies on what you want. You can ph 130-5127-9268 and make an appointment in English.
