Hamburger joints?

Need something that would make me feel like I'm stateside...chain fast food joints need not apply.

Thank you in advance.

Re: Hamburger joints?

I was really disappointed by the Kiosk cheeseburger. While there stick to the sandwiches.

BTW do a search for "best burger" as this thread was done a while back.

They mean American (the States) style food. Basically food that has no redeeming quality other than tasting good and increasing your gravitational pull.

Re: Hamburger joints?

Can someone post locations for the American Cafe and Grandma's?

Thanks!

I love the Kiosk burger! Not exactly a classic stateside kind of food, but it's so damned good.

Re: Hamburger joints?

I'm not sure but I would KILL for a Fuddrucker's hamburger about now! Along with some onion rings and a milkshake.

Re: Hamburger joints?

how much for a grandmas burger with the lot, bacon cheese, salads. or a typical gourmet burger....

Re: Hamburger joints?

I think a BBQ burger at Grandma's is 55RMB.

Re: Hamburger joints?

I would die for a JOHNNY ROCKETS burger and shake right now!

Oh yeah - and a plate of ONION RINGS too!

Re: Hamburger joints?

I tried a Burger at Rumi's on Gongti.
I know...I know...it's a persian place (I think). Which they serve great food there.

I tried their burger 2 weeks ago and was amazed to find how juicy, tender and flavourful it was. It's hard to find a good burger and I think I've found the best. Tongue

Must say Grandma's Kitchen has pretty decent burgers as well.

Hold up, this burger at Rumi's did it have cheese? What other toppings?

Can you describe the bun? Did it hold up well or were you left with saucy hands and a soggy bun?

Sorry, I'm really craving a good burger and I'm terrified that if I go to Grandma's Kitchen I'll accidentely meet Glenderful and have to stab him.

Re: Hamburger joints?

Had an excellent burger at Outback Monday night.

I was surprised with the flavor, along with the Blooming Onion and side salad it made an extremely good meal

I think they had cheese with mushrooms. Large amount of fries included. Though the bun should've been toasted.

Try it and tell me what you think!
