on a side note, i was trying to find a place to do laser hair removal and i looked at confidant.. the reviews on the cityweekend website are funny as! FBI most wanted fugitive, arrest warrants, adulterated drugs, known narcotics user. "Judging from your screen personality, were you too ugly for us to fix? Was that the problem?" .. geez, all i wanted was to get rid of that fluff on my upper lip....

Also note, that the US Botox has not been approved by the PRC FDA, so any clinic or hospital using it here is doing so illegally.

Confidential Clinic and their fake doctors did the worse thing-falsely branded medicines (fake names printed on pills) to unsuspecting patients. Beware of these scam artists.

Elective procedures, including this sort of thing, is not particularly wise in China for the foreigner who has alternate choices. Can't help you on places to go, but I would not trust the strength, purity, or quality control of Chinese-made botox and remember that any botox vial must never be used on more than one person, even if there is some left over--the excess should be tossed. If you go through with this, make sure that you inspect the vial(s) before allowing the doctor to proceed. I would also try to get an MD that is trained and licensed to perform plastic or cosmetic procedures, not just any old MD. Problem is in China more than most places, this can all be easily faked. Be very cautious.

I can vouch for Bioscor -in the e-tower next to guomao subway. They offer BTXA (Chinese botox)and imported botox (made by Allergan). BTXA is legit, meaning it works, but it's a little different. For one, it's smaller so it doens't last as long but it also works a little quicker. If you are really interested, google the two. If you just want long lasting great results use botox and go to Bioscor, tell them the look you want (I went with very natural but some people want less movement). Lisa, I think that's her name, speaks great English and has a ton of info about everything. She can tell you about BTXA vs Botox too.
They have specials a couple times a year and the touch-ups are free.

......there are a bunch of other people speaking on what they know nothing of as well....."there are no good-clean places in china"?? I'll admit there is a large number of substandard examples in every aspect of life here but there is also a large International population and an affluent Chinese population who demand high standards. Since China has embarrassed capitalism the response has been an increasing number of "good-clean places".

I don't have time to read or respond to the rest of the non-sense on here. I trust common sense will assist the reader in picking though comments.

You could give it a try if other options don't appeal to you.
