Shuangjing Carrefour

Does anyone has any info on who to write or complaint to in English at Shuangjing Carrefour? Last month I was shopping there and paid by bank card. The bill was for RMB 338 but the cashier make an error charged me RMB 388 instead. Cashier wanted to pay me the difference of RMB50 but supervisor said just void the 388 slip and recharged 338.
I was checking my bank statement today and realised both charges were there and no void/refund was done. How dodgy is that? I AM BLOODY FURIOS !!! Help please....

welcome to china. no "errors" are "errors" in your favor. this happens back in the US, but never so blatantly large sums like that. complain to the supervisor again i guess, or find somebody from their corporate headquarters' contact info in france online.
best thing i can suggest is to carry 500RMB in your purse/murse when grocery shopping.

I don't. But you may start with your bank to report the fraudulent charges and they might give you assistance

There is a poster in the import section with the name and phone number of someone to contact if you are not finding products you are looking for (Vivian somebody?). Perhaps she would be a good contact, if only to find out who you should really be speaking to about this issue.

According to my experience, it normally takes approximately 15 working days to get money refund if you make payments by credit cards. That means that they did right job, because the frist charge which is 388RMB will be credited into your bank account after 15 working days. I hope your case is the same with mine and wish you will get the money back soon.

I would still follow up on admin's recommendation and call your bank and log a dispute just in case. It happened to me when I was using an ATM and got double the amount debited. My bank fixed it for me, so I would just call them to be safe. good luck.

Darn, check my account and still no credit. I am going off in the morning for CNY leave so wont e back till a month later.
