feng shui paraphernalia which is related to interior decoration, i.e. crystals, chimes etc. things which can "improve" feng shui, if you cannot change architecture.
You won't find a "feng shui shop" in Beijing - but if you study feng shui and find out what you want or need, then the things are quite easy to pick up; there is a feng shui course you can take from a western lady that advertises in classifieds in the Beijinger if you can find her. I have bought a lot of stuff over the years - fountains, pebbles/stones, chimes etc and the markets (panjiayuan) etc are good sources to find things.

you do realize that feng shui is pretty complex when carried out by a feng shui master, yes? if you don't have a lot of background you can screw things up a bit.
i only mention this because chimes, in themselves, are not important, it's mostly the metal contained therein. i don't believe crystals play a part in traditional feng shui at all.
you can look up some info from a guy whose got real credentials in who he's worked with at the American Feng Shui Institute.
thorough readings include the date the building was constructed, it's positioning, the dates of birth of the people living there, etc., etc. You do this with a luopan...my point pretty much is it's not something you just read about in a book and start throwing things around with. a lot of that stuff is new-age beliefs. that's fine and all, it's just not really feng shui, even when it claims to be.
I went to one once but the whole shop was facing the wrong way and all the things were poorly arranged, in the end I had to go running out of there screaming.
