LOST and FOUND?? Retrieving something left in cab!?

I left my guitar in the trunk of a cab on saturday night *^&^$#%!!!

Don't have the taxi number or even the name of the company.

I'm calling all the taxi companies and placing a radio ad on the station that drivers listen to.

Any other advice from anyone would be appreciated... other than telling me how stupid I am -- i've already done that one...

or if some kind soul happens to come across it whilst opening a taxi trunk... please let me know... (it's in a black styrofoam travel case). i miss it terribly and am very upset... me and my strings are very attached

I am really sorry about that, hope you are fine now.
There are much information like taxi No., Tel, date, time on the Beijing Taxi Receipt.
But I don't think you have kept the receipt, so it is really hard to find your guitar, sorry to say that.
Make sure to keep a receipt when you take a taxi, that's simple but important.

Hi, Did you have any luck with your guitar couple years ago. I am in the same position as you with my saxophone as of last wed. Any suggestions? Unfortunately no cameras around to catch the license plate of the cab I was in. I've done a police report and the radio. Which radio station did you use. I did 103.9, which costs a 300rmn each time, crazy, what other station do you recommend? Do you still have all of the numbers of taxi companies handy? I hear there are a lot of taxi companies.
