Alfa's service (from indifferent to terrible)

We had lunch at Alfa today and the service went from indifferent to outright rudeness.

The waitress didn't know the ingredients in
Day's special quiche
or
what is the 3 favors of the sorbet for dessert.

It got worse when were we paying our bill.

We had a 100 off a bill over 200 coupon.
the waitress and then the manager told us they would not accept it because Alfa just started the brunch service this week, the coupon was not meant to be used for lunch . These "conditions" are not printed on the coupon.

We got the coupon a week ago , it is well before expiration date so we insist on using it. After 10 minutes, the manager said she would make an exception and accepted the coupon.

And then the waitress compound the bad service. Our bill came to 268 , and gave her the coupon + 200 RMB. She will not give us any change.
After 5 minutes of frustrating arguing, we just dig up 168 RMB in cash + coupon to settle the bill.

The manager did come over to apologize as we left.

The food was acceptable, but we are not going back.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.

I don't really go to Alfa anymore either. Their staff is very rude indeed.

And I and couple of my friends also had bad experience with the alcohol they serve, on differnet ocasions.

Pitty, they had a nice patio, but even now they placed some glass plastic thing over it, as I was able to notice while passing by.

But really, very very very very very bad and impolite service.
