I just posted an order with 3emart.com for some drinks since I can only carry so many drinks at a time and I'm tired of making those late night drink runs. If they actually come, I'll let you know ;D

me too with 3emart making an order that is, because I too hate to cart drinks home so thought I'd buy them by the case instead, except they are out of everything that appeared remotely imported...

Haha, I feel your pain oldlady. I got a reply yesterday from them and they're out of everything I ordered, which was the cherry 7up, dr. pepper, and ginger ale. They said they should have it again within a month.

So then I ordered form Carrefour, just coke and pepsi and stuff like that. They confirmed my ordered, and even called to let me know to be in today because it was coming, so much better service on that end. But smaller selection.

I called Lohao City for some organic food to be delivered, and they came 90 minutes later.
They even advised which vegetbles were fresh and in stock and called me back and told me one item was out of stock and allowed me to order an alternative.

Carrefour has something hanging above the checkouts.

Apparently they do it in both Chinese and Engrish but I have not logged on yet.

They had a .cn at the end of the address.

I regularly shop online at Carrefour and am quite satisfied with the result. Although you cannot specify a delivery time you can tell them to call you an hour (or two) before they come and they're always on time. The website is in English and well done. It's usually two people coming - one poor guy who has to carry all the stuff and one tiny lady on high heels who carries the VISA card machine and speaks English. After you order, they will send you an Excel sheet with your order, which items are currently unavailable (not many in my experience) and which prices have changed. Pity they don't have fresh fruit and vegetables or frozen items but other than that I am very satisfied.

There is a really good online supermarket called Beijing Home Delivery. All of their products are presented on their site with a picture and a description and they provide a very efficient service. The website is www.beijinghomedelivery.com I really would recommend using them - first time users get free delivery as well which is pretty good.
