Three Requests: Grahams, Falafel, Coffee Creamer
Hi! I've been here for quite a while, and this is my third trip. Recently, despite trips to Jenny Lou's (3 locations), April Gourmet, Ole, CRC, Friendship Store, Walmart... I am unable to find Graham Crackers or Falafel. I had found these items in Beijing before, but it's been a few months, and I am unable to find any. Please help!!
Also, I have never been able to find good coffee creamer. Now, before you jump on me, I can find the powdered stuff everywhere. That stuff is junk. I've also seen individual packets of liquid creamer a couple of places, but not only is it single-serve, it's not very good. What I'd love, and really would pay extra for, is bottles of flavored (Hazelnut preferred) liquid non-dairy creamer. This stuff is common enough back in the US to be available in 7-11 and gas stations, but I've never seen it here. There are two major brands, Nestle (Coffee Mate) and International Delight.

Again, any help appreciated. I'm going to be forced to break into Bite-a-Pitta soon and steal some falafel mix! Possible reward to be offered!

Sorry this is not a helpful reply... but...
You know, it is really easy to make youe own falafels from scratch...
Do some google searches for recipes, loads out there! Some just use chickpeas, I prefer using fava and chickpeas...
Hummos is even easier.
Usually the hardest thing is finding tahini
And if you really get bored, you can pretend to make it online

felafel like felafel mix? haven't ever seen it but yes, easy enough to make from scratch or, head to "bite a pita" or the palestinian owned cafe on north sanlitun.
graham crackers are sold at lion mart in central park. they aren't the top classic brand (i think these are keebler), but they are ok.
re: creamer, get whole cream and cut it with milk for half-and-half, and if you want flavors there are a number of places that sell syrup. what powder creamer is to some, the small little flavored creamers are to me as well. can't stand the stuff, but to each his own.
