Visa Fees

Hi, Im going to Hong Kong tomorrow for my visa and was hoping someone coud tell me roughly how much money I should expect to pay? My school will reimburse me but in the mean time I want to make sure I have enough mney with me,

Re: Visa Fees

It varies according to what visa shop you go to, what kind of visa it is, how long it's for, what nationality you are, whether you need it the same day or in 2 or 3 days.

If you want a 6 month F multiple entry it should be less than 2,000 RMB anyway. It's always better to ring or email the visa shop first and tell them your exact circumstances and get a quote, though.

It depends on your nationality. because of "reciprocity," people from some countries pay more than others.

It also depends on what type of visa you are getting.

Re: Visa Fees

Hi there,

I think you already have the employment/expert licence and Z invitation letter from your school, so what u need to do is just go to the consulate to pay the government fee which is according to your nationality, but should b several hunderd kuai, n if u do express service, will charge a few hunderd kuai as well depends on how fast you got the visa back.

Good luck for you.

Re: Visa Fees

Hi, Please explain to me can I get a Z visa in Hong Kong and where ,with an invitation letter and other documents .? I am British Passport holder. I was told before that to get a Z visa I had to be in the UK and apply.

All is not lost, yet

First of all, you should find a company which can provide the sponsorship so that you could apply an employment license. Then you would get a working invitation letter which is applied from the employment license.
Finally, you could apply a Z visa in Chinese Embassy either of HK and UK.

Actually, if you are in Beijing now, we can help you to apply a Z without leaving.
