I'm sure nan luo gu xiang ( hou hai area) has a lot stores like this.

There r some on Pan jia yuan and xi dan.

It depends on what kind of crafts do u want.

I am looking for supplies so that I can make my own crafts. Things like fabric, sewing materials, cardstock, stamps, scrapbooking albums, or card making materials. I am curious about stores that carry general craft supplies rather than stores that sell already made items.

Are there any specific places you would recommend, lodgerly?

Was in 798 this weekend; a new hobby shop opened just 50m from the central photogallery (I always forget what it's called), on the other end of the passage. The store has canvases, colors, window colors and different materials. Neat, bright and tidy.

Wusi Dajie is full of little arts and crafts stores, but Beijing Gehua Bai Hua remains the oldest and best art supplies store, with everything from easels (250-1,200RMB) to brushes (2-200RMB), to myriad kinds of papers, sprays, paints and craft materials, all for a few kuai.

I found this address on google and was going to check it out today if I can find it! Does anyone have any updates about any other craft supply stores?
