Learning Spanish in Beijing

Hey guys,

Does anybody know where to study Spanish in Beijing? I started learning Spanish two years ago, but I did not study much during the last year, so my Spanish is in quite a bad state... However, I can read the newspaper and know most of the grammar, as I have studied French and Latin before. Thus, I would need a more advanced course.
I am a student and do not have much money, so private tutoring is nothing for me... Perhaps I could look for a language partner, but I would actually prefer normal language classes - if there is something in Beijing! I live at Renmin Daxue, so anything near Zhongguancun would be fine.

Thank you for your help!
Beatrix

Re: Learning Spanish in Beijing

There are regular language classes and cultural events at the Institute de Cervantes.

Sorry, it is not in your part of town, it is near Gong Ti, on the same block as Face bar is, across from the Blue Zoo. You can go online to check out their course schedules, I think they are reasonably priced.

(123teachme.com/learn_spanish/beginner) Learn Spanish online using free materials including lessons, vocabulary, verb conjugate, and more.

Re: Learning Spanish in Beijing

I do not thing, there are any reliable Spanish language institutes, exist around the place you mentioned. As a matter of fact, Spanish language is not popular in china and hence you may not get the kind of teachers you would get in ESL or other language courses. In contrast, if you opt virtual education, you can access teachers that master the knowledge of Spanish language. At the same time, you could know the culture and subtle nuances about the language that only native speakers can explain. With soft wares that render no difference between face-to-face and online education, you could get the education with ease and convenience. Even more so, you could learn how to operate technology and sophisticated soft wares that are now used all over the world and that have brought educational revolution everywhere. Following are a few popular Spanish programs which can also be done in online.
