Just when you think the most dangerous part of shopping in Carrefour is the fake Captain Morgan's.

BTW this happened in Chongqing...

French retailing giant Carrefour SA has been expanding its operations in China. It has 100 superstores in 37 Chinese cities.

'Bout time. If they insist on having a death penalty, it's for this kind of neglect of public safety that it should be used most harshly. How f-ing hard is crowd control? Really, how hard?

yes but three deaths is a small price to pay for getting some cheap oil! And hey, no one I know died!

Why isn't this France's fault? If it was a US company every local nit wit would be screaming that the US should be punished for allowing this to happen 8-)

f***, Yan, as a bottle or two a week drinker of the Captain, I'm a little concerned with this statement.

I don't shop at Carrefour, I shop at my beloved Lion Mart, but if the frogs have fake Rum why wouldn't the, uhh, Lions, have fake rum too???

I've never heard the like. I thought Christmas shopping was bad enough in the West. Especially when the shop is down to the last 10 Cabbage Patch Kids/Furbies/Tamagotchis.

It was a discount of about 11 kuai per bottle. People started lining up at 4am because there were limits on the amount you could buy and how long the sale was gonig to be going on.

When the Carrefour management saw the people lining up that early, they should have just cancelled the sale
