admin, is that the place with photos of that creepy, long-haired, greasy looking guy with famous people? You can see it from the side street near Luga's and the DVD shop?

Re: Ciro's Pomodoro
yep.. that's the one and only Ciro.
And those pictures don't do him justice.. he's pretty nice! looks like he escaped from an 80's revival circus with his necklaces, rings and variouspiercings. Hero, you'd dig some of his tattoos.
But there is one picture of him in the restaurant with blond hair... I swear you could use it to scare the creepies out of little children.

Re: Ciro's Pomodoro
All right.
Pricing is actually in the same range as Gisa's.
50 for a good lasagna is not bad, but boyce didn't sound too enthusiastic, he simply described it as being hefty.
I like my lasagna with cottage cheese in the pasta layers and mozzarella on top.

Re: Ciro's Pomodoro
i LOVE the place...
went there again tonight (escaped from saddle for an hour)
the food is fanfukingtastic.
great for a romantic date. get the gnocchi, antipasti, cheesecake, vodka pene, salmon carpaccio..... hmmm...
great wine selection and the atmosphere changes completely at 10ish to become a bar rather than a restaurant.
good food, waiters all speak good english, great management and nice atmosphere.
its the escape from all the trash in sanlitun we all need sometimes.... get out of f-ing poachers and kai club and have a cocktail the way they were meant to be made sometimes.
then come to the saddle afterwards...of course.

Sounds like a Kodak restaurant....let it develop before taking a look

Re: Ciro's Pomodoro
Ambiance reminds me of a late 90's theme restaurant.
They even had a various flavors of Pucker behind the bar.
*pukes*
I didn't eat anything so I can't speak for that.
Defoliating a victory garden sure works up an appetite.
