Cool plug? Where do I get it? More of a Vanguard man, myself (as long as you kill the irritating arp).
By the way, BB, you wouldn't happen to know where I can get a hold of a plug called TimeFnk. Possibly my fave of all time - a really simple (i.e. no advanced mathematics degrees required to operate), but very handy LFO'd delay. Recently updated everything, but can't find that plug anywhere. Hell, I think it might even have been freeware.

Its a discontinued but..... check you pm's 8-) Its now called 'Ronin' and 'Ronin 2' apparently. Tempo sync delays are a wicked effect.
Vanguard is nice one ya get past the presets, otherwise everything starts sounding like Ferry Corsten
What I like about this one is the balanced mike input with the phantom.
I am going to need to update my PC this year, and being able to plug guitar/mike etc straight in to this unit seemed an advantage-I can dump the little mixer I use now and not worry about a nice new sound card for the new PC
Also being able to use it to mix from was just a plus

Gotcha, although the Maya has
4 input channels = 2 stereos
4 output channels = 2 stereos (easily used for dj'ing)
Phantom + 20db switching

@Blucat
Its a pre-amp/monitor system (hence the phantom). Rane's Serato is aimed at laptop dj'ing.
