We here, at Kocoon, are not very keen on extractions, it is true. Depending on the skin type, we normally steam and exfoliate with a peeling rich in pineapple and papaya enzymes to remove impurities and clogging.
There is a vicious cycle in extractions: When you pull out the blackheads, the pores are overexposed and more susceptible to infections. The more you do it, the bigger your pores will get, and sucking the oil out of it will just trigger your pores into creating more oils.

We'd rather encourage our clients to keep their pores clean by maintaining a good skincare hygiene, and whenever they can, to do a facial cleaning with good facial products.

However, we understand your frustration if you were expecting to have extractions done. We apologize if we didn't communicate well. Next time a guest comes in for a facial, we will make sure to offer the options.

If proper food and sleep is not available there are chances of getting skin allergies try to have more water which pur's the entire skin .

check out this european holistic spa inside of the lido park!!! they use products from a london based brand called elemental herbology. the facialist really knows her stuff...my skin looked super radiant and clean. i never had a facial like this in beijing...the only thing is that this place kinda hard to find... totally a hidden jewel. they also have a super chic retail area where you can find fab products nowhere else carries.

I have tried Bodhi and Kocoon.
My favorite is Kocoon, the products they use are much better, they don't leave your face sticky and greasy... It happenned to me 2 times at Bodhi and I do not like the sensation of a greasy face after a facial!
Kocoon's facial, products and massage were in a much nicer environment and the result on my skin was really good so up to you guys to try!
