Also check out www.shoppinginbeijing.com.
They have a nice collection of touristy markets and there's a nice touch
where you can order the markets according to the ratings given of the
users.

Re: Tourist Shopping Places
The shopping center opposite the beijing zoo is the best! the prices are already so low that you won't even bother bargaining. also, they display price tags so don't need to ask for the price if you don't speak mandarin. Nothing much over 100 there. All around 20ish range.

Re: Tourist Shopping Places
Foreigners usually get ripped off in those tourist shopping places. I suggest bargain hard like if they ask for 130 kuai for a tshirt, then 20-30 is the best price to do it. go by 20 - 30 percent on clothes.

Re: Tourist Shopping Places
I love Beijing Zoo Market. Not only it's nearby the subway, but also the clothes are so cheap really. You can select all kinds of styles to try. But there is messy since it has lowest trade price and it's the first choice for many local persons. Notice you safe and avoid stealing. Bless Good Shopping for U.

Rebecca Minkoffs new version of the Kiss clutch shows the added chic of a classic-cool vibe. The gorgeous leather has a traditional quilting element, but its ensured that the detail is all-modern

Re: Tourist Shopping Places
Hello!!
Thanks for your response. If you want something really cheap, then there are lots of cheap shops near where I used to live in Livingston, always get the street name mixed up lot! It was run by the city and had many items unique to the city. Most were things that were outdated or no longer in use.
Thanks a lot again!!
