Alto/Bass Vocal Duets. Suggestions?

A friend and I are looking for some relatively modern duets that we can sing together.

She has an Alto, almost Soprano voice, while I am solidly rooted only in Bass.

Can anyone make some suggestions of songs that we could perform together? Anything from the 50´s onwards would be fine, as would Disney, musicals scores or pop songs.

But nothing religious or Christmasy. Wink

Cheers in advance.

Just had a listen on YouTube. Great song. Biggrin

Excuse my complete ignorance though, but is JC's voice deep enough? I mean, deep enough that I would actually be able to sing it?

Islands in the Stream with Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton.

If I Close My Eyes Forever with Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford.

Lol  Lol

Just did another quick YT search. Excellent suggestion.

I think I might even be able to pull off a temporary accent for that one. Lol

Cheers Alex.

Islands in the Stream, Kenny is a bit high. Not sure if it can be transposed well enough of not.

If I Close My Eyes Forever, is a bit slow. Really need something with a bit more energy.

Cheers for the ideas though Hero.
