Fiance and I decided to get married here and my Chinese is non-existent. We are new to Beijing.
HELPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

there all these wedding planning companies but I wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them! If you have a J Lo type person that you've used or a friend has used before, sure!
I hear about wedding planning companies that take all your money and then don't show up on your wedding day!
plus, I have to say that polyester cheese full of pink is also a big fear of mine

Get the date and banquet location sorted out first. For some places you need to book a year ahead of time, depending on the date.
