speaking of the music, yes, Les Miz is as good as the Phantom..

but add the story and the costume, I still rate the phantom NO. 1...

and I love all the Puccini's work....like Turandot, Tosca and Madama Butterfly..Lol!

Dunno how this post got into musicals and opera. I've seen Phantom in London too and it was great, but nothing NOTHING I TELL YOU beats the Turandot I was fortunate enough to experience in Prague once. I think I got the last pair of tickets of the season to a show that had sold out in 30 minutes (for 22 performances). Wow,, wow and more wow. The Nessun Dorma was just electrifying and on par with Pavarotti at his best. If I ever get the chance to see Turandot again I'll pay whatever the price of the tickets.

Mockingbird,, when reading this OP as well as your post about what you don't like about men I'd say you'll have a better chance of getting struck by lightning while riding naked on a unicycle on a sunny day than finding a mate that fits all of your requirements. But good luck with it.

I have seen Turandot in Shanghai long long time ago and seen it twice in Melbourne...I like Nessun Dorma but among all Giacomo Puccini's work, Madama Butterfly is the best...
