Why do ANY younger women like older men?? They are secure (hopefully), stable and have a bit more money to spend on you. Plus younger guys tend not to be the best lovers.

Hmm Ive been told by several Chinese friends overseas that most Chinese parents are straight up racist when it comes to laowai sons-in-laws. I dont know if anyone can support this claim with own experiences?

I'm one of those guys and love every minute. I savor the amazed and confused looks of middle-aged women as they see me with a young girl that could be their daughter. Do I care? No. Its my business and I'm the lucky monkey. The question about WHY young Chinese girls prefer an older foreign guy...I think it is because to my knowledge not a lot of lovin goes on in most Chinese families...I"m talking about TOUCHING, HUGGING...basic human contact for crying out loud. Even a puppy will become crazy if he isn't petted once and awhile. Most Chinese would just equate it as "this is our culture foreign monkey boy and shut up"...well, there you go. Well if true, and I think it is, then not only do older guys fulfill the needed loving aspect but also (here is a little bit of Freud coming at you) a loving father figure as daughters share a special admiration for their fathers and ditto boys with their mothers. But at the end of the Chinese day...people just have to live their OWN lives...find your own happiness and don't fret over what other people are doing already...

There is generally much more physical contact between family members in western countries than in Asian ones. But that doesn't erase the fact that people need physical connections as an integral aspect of being apart of the human race. This isn't slamming China---its just apart of Chinese culture and should be respected no matter what---albeit it probably does have its consequences---Of course many young girls may have a MOTIVE in choosing an older guy to latch onto and that is totally understandable too as its all about economics. A friend of mine---an American university professor married a young Chinese girl who came from a background so poor that she begged in the streets with her family as a young girl. Now has she succeeded in bettering her life situation? Did she have an equal chance of getting ahead given her roll or the dice in life....I think not...so when one realizes that they are just searching for a better life---and who wouldn't---then its a little more understandable...

Having sex with a old guy might be fun to some. I guess the fun part for the girl would probably be that they never know how if the guy will survive to the end.

well, some Chinese guys like to cheat their wives as much as their western counterparts. there is no so much difference between guys' nature. one thing is slightly different between Chinese and foreign guys (in general): western guys may be easier to get divorced if he has no feelings toward his wife any longer or he is 'truly in love' with someone else than his wife no matter if he already got kids (maybe this is not true for some religious people in the West). Love is the fundamental thing for most western people but not the major factor for Chinese family. The responsibility for kids is the primary concern, and then the impact to their social status/image, family pressure, divorce costs,,,,etc. too complicated. so that a Chinese guy seldom take the initiative to divorce their wives and actually Chinese women play the role to break the iceberg in most cases (they always choose to stay especially when they have kids no matter how bad the relationship with their wives is ). so this is kind of significant 'stability' through traditional Chinese parents eyes compared to a guy who is from a country that the divorce rate is over 50%.
