How to keep a long distance relationship

How to keep a long distance relationship

To be or not to be, that's never a question.

Re: How to keep a long distance relationship

Short question...long answer. But, my short answer is: patience, commitment, honesty, constant communicating, value in the end result.

Stay Hungry!

Pain is a requirement, not a curse

Re: How to keep a long distance relationship

with all ur heart, if u really care about the relationship

Re: How to keep a long distance relationship

Don't

(Brian starts singing)
Stewie : Hey, who sings that song?
Brian: James Taylor.
Stewie: Let's keep it that way.

Re: How to keep a long distance relationship

you keep it long distance by staying away from each other

If it's for short period, it's workable. Long period, better find another one. Too much aggro.

Agreed.

How long are you planning for? A life long?

Some people can go a long time. Aung San Suu Kyi was married to a Brit. She's been in detention in Burma since 1989 and I'm sure the criminals in power would love it if she volunteered to leave the country. Sadly, after 10 years in detention, her husband developed cancer, but was denied permission to enter Burma to see his wife before he died. But she still chooses to stay. Different people have different thresholds of pain when it comes to separation.

Cheers,

Perhaps her over-riding love is for her country. After all, she was elected as president of the country (with 90% of the vote) and the generals in power just ignored the result and arrested her.

Truly a sad case.

I tried before. Really tried. Gave up eventually. Please don't ask me more details. It lasted about 2 years.

Re: How to keep a long distance relationship

yup, unless it's really short term i believe 99% of them wont last and will cause nothing but long lonely hours, sleepless nights, and constant agitation.
i did one for 3 months..it was hell, and i would never agree to do it again, although we did last the 3 months till we got back together, physically that is. but i'm sure any longer than 3months and it would have ended. sorry, good luck
