In related news, there are conflicting reports about why the price of foreign baby milk powder has increased since the scandal surrounding Sanlu and 21 other brands of baby milk powder emerged. Are the foreign producers making a profit off a tragic food safety scandal or has increased demand for their product simply resulted in higher prices? Whatever the case, the relevant authorities have announced that they'll be monitoring the price of milk powder very closely.

Duh. It's called supply and demand. I would imagine that anyone who can afford it is now scrambling to buy up as much foreign baby formula as they can get their hands on rather than risk poisoning their own child with the domestic stuff.

In other news, Xinhua news also announced that the sky is blue (honest! Just not in Beijing). LOL

so now is a good time to quit using milk in your coffee, people. its a nasty habit!

That is crazy. Its like KFC running out of chicken.

Of course I have also faced the same problem in KFC long time ago. Not only in KFC but I have suffered from the Red Lobster restaurant too. About a couple of month ago when I had been to Darden Red Lobster for the seafood, but couldn't have any seafood items and they offered me with the chicken meat items.

The reason behind Red Lobster not serving sea food was they had no any fresh seafood items on that day. On the way to restaurant the vehicle was damaged which had carried the fresh seafood items so the customer were served with the chicken items that day.

Hmmm. I don't get that message, using Avast.

I do remember getting a similar message a year or so ago, on thebeijinger, although the website in the warning was something different than this one.
